Well, I loved my '05 G35 like crazy, but found a deal a couldn't pass up on a '08 G37S (Auto, Nav, S). Sold the 5 in 3 days on Craigslist for 16k, bought the 7 on the same day for 17.5K. The 7 has more miles than my '05, but more features (Nismo LMZ 5 wheels, '11 Aero bumper, iPod, Bluetooth, etc).

Bit more power than the 5, but bit worse MPG too. Loving it so far, guess I've got to join the G37 board now .

Really good price but I could never do it. The G35 looks so much better than the 37 imo but looks are subjective. Glad you got a good deal! Enjoy the car!

What are LMGT 5s?

 

Oops, the wheels are Nismo LMZ 5. And I kind of agree that I liked the style of the G35 just a little bit better (nobody confuses a G35 for anything else (except 2 people had told me it looked sorta Porsche like) where as the G37 can, at times, look a little too much like the Altima coupe).

My 35 had 78k miles, and a whole lot of rock-chip damage on the front bumper/hood, and some deep scratches on the back bumper, so I feel lucky to have sold it so quickly for 16k (that's what I paid for it 2.5 yrs ago).

Although the 37 has more miles (87k), the paint is perfect, the interior is perfect, new tires/wheels/'11 Aero bumper, and features my old one didn't have like memory seat, bluetooth, ipod, back-up camera, Akebono brakes, working Sirus/XM till 2014, and a bit more HP (280 to 330). Good Carfax & maintenance records (owner was tired of the MPG on his long commute, so bought a Prius for work & a 350z convertible for weekends)

So for just $1,500 difference, I thought it was worth the change. I'm getting used to the shape, and the staggered wheels really help the look. Love the upgraded interior/features. I usually keep cars for about 3 yrs, so by then the new G will be out

 

yeah i'd get a G37 in a heartbeat if I could get one for a good deal.

Wow, I don't blame you for jumping on the G37 when it's that low of a price, I'd definitely do the same!
