Question TomTom GPS for Pocket PC

Looking for an inexpensive GPS solution for my coupe....anyone use products from TomTom? This particular one (link below) is for bluetooth PDAs. If I get it, I'll just dock it on the dash. At the moment, I don't want to spend $2k or $3k on a nice quality system but I do want something reliable. This one cost about $300. Your thoughts?

Mine also does WiFi Sync when I pull into the garage for Calendar and Contacts.

FYI: TomTom makes great stuff..

I dont have a navi and im glad i didn't. 95% of the time I can get to where im going.
For the other 5% ill get directions, or an after market navi if ever needed.

If you're not a traveling salesman, i don't see it as being a big deal.

If you want to save some money... buy a compact flash or bluettoth GPS off ebay for $80-$90. Go to http://www.mapopolis.com and get the program for free and the entire US maps + updates for a year for $100. Just google for a car mount + changer which is like $30. You save $70-$90, and if you don't need the entire US, individual counties can be purchased for $10. Although it's illegal, the maps may be on p2p software, as mine will work on two different pocket pcs.

I use this program with a Dell X5 and X50. It has mislead me only once, where it placed the address on the wrong side of the street. I really am happy with my decision though. All it's missing is the '3d' view.

Either way you'll be happy. It's just really cool to see your actual speed, heading, elevation, and location without spending $2,000. Using the compactflash gps you can even take it hiking.
