So after trouble-shooting this for a few days, my driver's window finally went completely kaput and refused to roll up or down. I tried swapping in another motor with no luck, and even swapping the master switch from another G with no luck.

So I caved and went to my stealer to have it diagnosed. The master tech there told me that he thinks my BCM might be on its way out, and that he noticed that the switch had full voltage when at rest, but when it was engaged, the voltage would drop down considerably.

The thing that has me scratching my head, however, is the fact that while I was at the stealer, both the driver and passenger windows stopped working. However, when I closed the door to start driving home, all of a sudden, the passenger window magically worked again.

So I'm starting to wonder if the wires in my harness are worn, or if some of the pins somewhere have become damaged. At $300 + labor to install the new BCM, I'll keep trouble-shooting before I go that route.

Although, I don't understand why labor is so much to install the BCM. Install and reprogramming takes all of 45 minutes to an hour...

Funny I have the same problem in my car. My passenger side motor seems to choose when it wants to roll up correctly and not, but awhile back I read somewhere if you just bang on the door inside it'll make the motor work. No lie if my motor stops working going up or chooses to pull itself back down I slam on the armrest one to two times and it corrects itself and works properly again. I was about to by a new motor and I saw that advice and its worked for me every since. Haven't spent a DIME on the motor yet just followed the advice and its worked for me.

I cleaned the motor and it works again but the window is not aligned and presses much to hard on the outside wall of the door and wont go up....everytime i get those two main screws through the black metal cover it makes my window fall out of the correct alignment..

I called the nissan dealership for a price quote....650$ +tax....i need some help
