You should listen to your mom. A G without a spoiler is like a pretty lady... that is bald.

I like the OEM spoiler on my 2004 G coupe, wingless looks okay with some aftermarket bumpers not OEM.

This. I've seen a lot of nice wingless G's, but they're usually dropped, modded and have some aftermarket bumpers.

A stock wingless G looks too bland/boring.

I tried to go from an 03 to 06 spoiler but didnt end up doing it. I remember hearing that the holes don't line up. So i just stuck with the big one. I would actually like to go with the 06 spoiler if i could. Don't wanna deal with the filling of the holes & repaint.

Thanks. I'll take that into consideration.

This is the first thread I've seen in a while where people prefer the surfboard spoiler...

the surfboard spoiler is awesome! it gives it more curves and a even sexier look than it already has.

A couple of years ago I went from the 06->05 and everything lined up without any issues. Holes were identical near as I could tell. Seems like some aftermarket 'OEM' spoilers have slight fitment issues though.
I picked mine up from: http://www.g35parts.com/G35-Coupe-Re...6030-am8xx.htm

Now getting the 06 off was a nightmare... So much adhesive tape underneath with metal bolts every so often to make sure you cant get any long stretch without re-threading fishing line. I managed to put a pinhole dent in my trunk lid while prying it up, but luckily it is covered by the ironing board.

I think my best advice would be a good heat gun, something very thin to feed through the line that wont scratch the paint, and a whole hell of a lot of goo gone.

I was about to suggest buying the whole trunk as it worked for me. The only thing I had to do is have it professionally buffered. Good luck with this!

Has anyone tried the aftermarket 03-06 OEM spoiler from CarID?

http://www.carid.com/2006-infiniti-g...r-1002068.html

They claim it will fit all coupes from 03-07. They will paint it to the factory paint code for you as well for a decent price.
