I feel ya man. I have yet to be in a fender bender and can't really appreciate the stress or just plain ol' being unhappy driving around a dented G lol. This guy at Starbucks near my job just got the rear bumper in his G coupe smashed in by a hit and run driver. So thank god that didn't happen to you. Now he is stuck with paying the deductible to get it repaired.

Thank god that didn't happened. Hopefully I can make out on this deal too and get my front bumper replaced(has alot of paint chips) and my windshield which has a chip taking out of it.

Total amount I'm getting is $883. Gonna have to wait a bit though for my $500 deductible to come back, but still not too bad. Should be able to get my rear and front bumpers done.

That's not bad man. Get the rear bumber and windshield fixed first IMO. Then worry about the chips on the front bumper if you have the extra cash. For the windshield, you can try the "Safelite" guys who do a mobile service. My stepdad had them repair a crack on his Passat for around $100. And they give you a quick online quote if you go to their website.

I just looked them up, its around $268 for a new windshield. I figure I might as well get the front bumper done while its in there, I can always have someone come out to do the windshield on my own time.

Try here, pretty sure you can get a stock one or an after market one for less than $200.

You shouldn't need to replace the windshield, they can just do a crack/chip repair which is a lot cheaper. And it looks brand new when they are done with it. But good thing your buddy can help you out with the body work though.

Also, windshield repair is covered with certain insurance companies. So check with your insurer for that as well =)

I found out progressive will fix it for free(the crack that is). Its pretty big though so I doubt it will be able to go away completely. I'm gonna call them up and have them do it after my car is all done with its body work.

I'll post up some pics when its done.
