Three possible solutions.
1. Check your in cabin air filter.
2. Check and clean your AC condenser. It can grow mold/fungus due to the constant presence of moisture.
3. Search for some disinfecting and/or mold killing spray. Don't remember what it's called but search around. It's mentioned in a few threads.

That makes no sense. If your windows are open or not, that has no effect to your vents. Just look at your cabin air filter like mentioned above. You may have a dead rat in there lol

He's not joking, do a search. You'd be surprised what people have found in their air vents!

Def change cabin filter. There is a case where there were dead rats in a guy's cabin filter that gave his car an unbearable stench. They're like 20 bucks and it's not the easiest cabin filter to change.. but with a nice DIY tutorial it shouldn't be too bad. I just brought my car in for inspection and told them to change it for me. It was no prob. lol

SEARCH is your friend, use it....=oD

Had you SEARCHED "Smelly Vents" you would have found that changing your cabin filter will fix the issue. We have a sticky on DIY install, takes 15 minutes....Gary

as other said...usually the smell comes from bacteria or mold build up in the cabin filter. You can try running your heater on high heat for a few mins, some times that kills the bacteria if your too lazy to change the cabin filter.

Infiniti definately over engineered the cabin filter. It takes 20 seconds to change it in a honda or toyota.

Just cleaned my smelly vents/ Help with window reset

So I went and bought this cleaner "Einszett 1Z Klima-Cleaner AC Odor Remover". Well it didn't get the smell completely gone but it sure did tackle the smell at 90% !! All you have to do is stick the tube down your vent and spray the all foam solution until its all gone.....30min later...smells like lemons.....So, I would recommend getting 2 bottle and spraying it twice to get all the smell completely gone...Since I sprayed down my passenger side vent ...I will spray down the driver side next.

I also changed my cabin filter and "no dead rat". lol and for anyone who changes there cabin filter..be aware that if you decide to unplug any plugs under the glove compartment...be sure to not unplug your air bag plug. I had to learn the hard way and found that my airbag light was flashing...I looked up how to reset. Problem solved.

Now the question about my window is...before I found out how to reset my airbag I thought I could just unplug the car battery to make the flashing airbag light go away. but I think I ended up doing something to the window auto roll up feature..."You know when both your window is rolled down all the way. And when you stick your key in the driver door to roll up all your window?" That feature do not work now. Does anyone have any ideas as to why it doesn't work now or do I just need to reset the window??? please help!!!
