Window problem need help

Just a question about my window situation my windows worked last week and now this week the driver side does not work. How do I tell if it's the switch that lowers the window a little bit when opening the door .. or if it's the actual window motor? Is there anyway to test out the switch or do I just have to buy a new motor. I parked it for 1 1/2 weeks and now it does not work.. Please help
