Hey everyone. I am new on here. I have been browsing while I decided to buy my G35. I purchased it for 20k earlier last month (April) with 44,000 miles on the car. The car is in pristine condition. I love how it handles, how it drives, and how the A/C doesn't bog the car down, like it did in my 01 Honda Prelude.

I had to get rid of the Prelude, but I will say I made a good decision getting this car.

Hope to make new friends on here and learn about my car more.

I have only painted my calipers red and painted by wheels graphite.

I plan on getting a suspension, a front strut tower bar, and the Motordyne Spacer and MRV2 combo at some point this year.

Noel, "Welcome to DRIVER!" Very nice OB coupe, congratulations on finding a '06 MT with such low mileage! Your objective now should be to find out all you can about your coupe by reading all those stickys and become familiar with our SEARCH function. There's not a question that hasn't already been asked & answered. Good choice of adding the Motordyne MREV2 and spacer, you're going to love it....Good Luck!
Gary

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking G. Definitely an upgrade from Prelude to G35, in my opinion. Enjoy the ride...

Clean G. I'm glad I'm not the only one who bought an '06 in the 20K range. I got my '06 last June for 24K with 35K miles on it and felt that it was worth it but still a little high. Anyway, you're going to love the car. Keep it clean and have fun! And +1 on the search function.

Very nice car. congrats. I think you should add clear corners to the list (or you can simply paint/tint your curent ones since yours is BO).

Thanks for all of the positive feedback everyone. I'm considering just getting some nightshade and painting my corners that way instead of buying new ones.

I want to ask everyone a question. When you get your MREV2, what do you do with your old lower plenum? I would imagine that it would just sit up until you sell your car.

You could keep it if you want, if there's a slight chance you may want to sell the car in the future then I wouldn't get rid of it. Personally, I try to keep the majority of the OEM crap that comes off my car.

exactly what herrschaft said. I gave some of my parts away for free and now that I am getting rid of my car I have to trade with OEM to recover most of my money and thats a hassle. Make sure you keep your OEM.

That's for the advice everyone.

There is so much to do to the car.

I am deciding between 350Z H-Techs and 350Z S-Techs. I wanted a slightly lower drop. Can 350Z S-Techs and 350Z Tokico HP Blue's be put on a G35 without a major difference in alignment (camber, toe, caster)? I know I probably will need to get the camber kits right after I do any sort of suspension drop.

You may get away from a camber kit with the 350z H techs. You wont know for sure until you see your alignment shop. Different shops have different means of making an alignment.
