Question OEM Front Lip cost part/install

How much did you guys pay at your local infiniti dealership for the OEM Front Lip and the installation. My local guy told me 375 for lip and 75 for installation. What do you guys think?

My wife bought mine from Grubbs for my birthday present ($285 for the lip). Took it to the local dealer to install while some warranty work was being done, they quoted me a rediculous $120 to install. I reluctantly agreed. They called back and said their policy is to not install parts not purchased there (Infiniti or otherwise). I went to pick up the car, my part wasn't in the car, found the box in the shop, missing some pieces, and now my rear seat was broken and unattached to the car (they were fixing the fuel guage sensor and had to remove the seat). I ended up installing it myself, so it was free.

That's ridiculous- not installing parts not purchased there. I'd go to another dealer if possible. I've had Nissan dealers install parts not purchased at the dealer with no problem.

grubbs pricing is $280. on other g35 websites, it's about $300. i heard the install is fairly easy to do yourself. just requires drilling a couple holes into the bumper. also, it DOES come prepainted.

i'm thinking about getting the front lip spoiler too. but i want to see it in person to see how it really looks. i've only seen it in pictures.

It comes painted from the factory and you need to drill 6 holes to intall the lip. 280 is a good price I use to sell it for 288 but local pickup only. Goodluck peeps.

Anything over $285 (Grubbs) is a rip off. Order the lip from Grubbs and install it yourself. If you know how to hold a drill, how to use a socket wrench, and have a spare couple of hours you can do it yourself.

There's quite a bit more holes on the bottom that you need to drill.

I bought mine from Justin over at www.everythingg35.com and installed
it myself. It took some time but not hard to do.

I've been thinking of doing this myself. No problems with the paint match, etc? If it really is that easy to install I figure that I'll do it myself (my dealer wanted $575 installed) and spend the left over cash on a CAI.
