Problems w/ my 2004 G35 coupe
I very very recently (about a month ago) bought a used '04 g35 coupe with 110k on it and in great condition for a car of that age. I have been driving it fine except for today. I have driven it in the rain once before without issue however today on my way to work i noticed a loud (couldnt have missed it if it happened previously) clunking noise coming from what felt/ sounded like the suspension or the power steering. It seemed to be proportional to the rate at which the wheels rotated but it only happened when the steering wheel was turned to the right (even the slightest bit) and it stopped making the sound when i started to break at all. (that im not 100% sure on but im relatively sure it stopped every time i breaked) I know a guy with a hydrolic lift and im going to get it checked out in a few days but does anyone know what this could be? Additionally, after i drove the area of the body was hottest around where the power steering is, and there is a slight creaking that goes along with it that is noticable.
So to recap:
---clunking
---only when turning right
---stops when breaking
---feels like power steering or suspension
---slight creaking
---wet conditions today
If anyone could shed some light on this it would save a very greatful man much worry.

Bumps and Groans are impossible for us to verify, find a dependable independent brake/alignment shop in your neighborhood and have your coupe checked out. Forget the dealership or giant companys like Firestone/Sears/PepBoys or GoodYear they don't know from squat. With the mileage on your coupe the noises could be anything....Gary
