Hi guys i need help PLEASE lol

i have a 2004 G35 coupe and my trunk wont open at all tried the valet as well but its off the button on my remote the button by the steering wheel it wont even open when i try to pull the emergency rope from the trunk its self. How can i fix this and where

Do you have a stick? Did you turn off your engine before a complete stop? If so, start your car and pop the trunk.

 

Ihad the swiych go bad. Replaced it and trunk opens.

 

Mine gets stuck to,Pull down back seat. pull the string an it will open,,sometimes they start working after that

 

the string wont work ethier its like its stuck or something i tried pulling it

 

I have the same problem. Make sure you are pulling the red strap between the back seats FIRMLY! I am leaving the back seats down on mine until I get it fixed. Mine stopped all of a sudden and weirdly the key fob and the switch inside work ever so randomly, but never both at the same time. My theory of lubricating the trunk latch failed, as did inspecting it for blockage, and my 'maybe the heat of the day plays a role' theory. It also doesn't seem to matter if I just opened it by using the emergency pull or not. The trunk decided to quit opening a week after I got the motor replaced in the passenger window. I am taking mine in next week after living with this for 8 months. I will let you know of the results from the mechanic. I still love my car, just some bumps in a fast road.
