Hey guys,

I have a '06 G35 and i have an issue. Whenever i turn on my heater on i get this damp towel smell. I tried everything, ozone treatment, car scents but this scent is still there.

I wanted to take apart my dashboard so the dealership can check if i have a dead mouse or anything stuck there.

My question is, if i take my dash apart and put it back, will there be any vibration on the dash after? I don't want my dash to start rattling...

Any thoughts/recommendations? I appreciate any help

Have you changed your cabin air filter? It's easy.

I just replaced everything Bose in my car with a DD system and after taking out just the radio I shudder to think what would be involved with taking the whole dash off.

take your battery out and check the area there as the cabin filter air enters inlet behind the battery.

Do you typically have your A/C on right before you turn off the car?
