Overheating
Typically if there are bubbles in the reservoir, then you know its your head gasket, and since you dont have white smoke coming out of the tail pipe, i say continue to bleed the system while making sure the radiator is full.
Is there still air coming out...it;s possible your mechanic put the thermostat in backwards, but i doubt it. If you said your heating got better after the bleed then there is definatly air in the system...did you have a friend hold the rpm to 3k after it warmed up and crack the bleeder screw for a bit until a solid flow of coolant came out?
I won't ask why you didn't take your G back to the guys that installed your new radiator and thermostat like I suggested....seems like it was there problem doing the job wrong.

first off i wanna say that sucks so bad...this reminds of back when i had my STI...got rid of it because of the overheating issue...spent hundreds trying to change everything but ended up being the head gasket...
but heres another way to check if you have a head gasket problem....take the radiator cap off and leave it off...then start the car....if water shoots up out of the radiator its not a good sign
