high pitch whine under intake manifold when key is on but car off
So, i was installing some suspension on a buddies car and tweaking some trunk wiring for the amp and installing some relays and adding things to an acc source.
When the key is in the off position, there is no noise
Then when the key is turned in either the acc or on position there is a buzzing noise. It is relatively high pitched and stays on indefinitely. The noise is not the fuel pump, or ballast for hid. I used a stethescope and it appears to be coming from under the intake manifold or between the heads.
I also double checked to see if it might have been from the throttle body, but the noise is not there.
Then when we start the car the noise goes away.
