IMO, stock tires are too narrow for the OEM 19" Rays. 235/255 would be better, but dropping to 35 Series tires decreases the overall wheel diameter. Not enough to cause VDC issues, but your speedo is off slightly, the wheel doesn't fill the well as much and you'll lose some comfort - no thanks.

245/35/19 and 265/35/19 (JUST outside of recommended width for a 8.5" rim) leaves the wheel diameters very close to stock and maintains the same ratio F&R. There's good Michelin's and (lightweight) Conti's in these sizes too.
