i came across this g35 2005 with navigation rare. the car has been on accident before. i checked the car today the dealer provided me with the picture of the car most dealers dont at least here in GTA. looks new in and out with low mileage going for $12000. and its only 80k
the engine is crisp but the suspesions he said he changed it to brandnew.
only the side air bag have been deployed from the accident, front tire suspension fixed everything was fixed and lights changed and certified and etested. with warranty
however i haven't test drive the car as of yet what should i look for based on the picture attached noises etc when driving the car? and im taking the car to a mechanic soon. should i walk away too tempted to buy it rare g35 the color and comes with the navigation what do you guys think? advice?

or should i buy 2004 black on black rare as well but no navigation accident free with 110k for 14500. but the interior for 2004 looks outdated not as classy as the 2005.
big decision been on g35 market for long

hard to read, but i didn't realize this car still commands that money, get the 05 because of the interior

That's not a good deal at all... my advice don't do it.

 

I would stay away from a car thats been in an accident. Especially if an air bag was deployed!

I forgot to mention the air bag was from the driver seat so the seat has been changed. would the air bag defect with the new seat installed? the car is from Canada every car here is pricey.

 

That 2004 is way too expensive and I agree with the above members, stay away from the air bagged deployed car.

Probably the black on black. It took me a while to find mine. It seems there are 5 black/tan for every blk/blk.

OP just wait and you will eventually find the right one. I am glad I waited. I got an 06 instead of the 04 I was actually trying to buy... Trying meaning I was ready to buy then the guy raised the price because someone else was also "interested" in it.

 

The first black G I saw (the one i ended up buying) had black interior lol... Never knew it was considered rare

OP if you're planning to buy a car and sell it after a couple of years dont buy the 05. but if you're going to keep it and drive it till the wheels fall off i say get it. but make sure you get it checked out by a machanic and make sure it was fixed by a professional shop.

the weirdest thing is ive never seen/heard a dealer sell salvage title car before...

 

i'd buy the 05. Looks good and the price is suitable.

 

Join the 05 club! I have nav in mine too, didn't know it was "rare" though..

 

Air bags, new front suspension....understanable since this coupe has been is a major accident! Regardless of year or cost you don't want a rebuilt "Junkyard Dog" keep looking for a better example with a clear CARFAX and less miles....Gary
