Anyone swap a Versa motor into a G35 coupe?

Heavy car, big heavy rims/tires, and an comparatively tall gearing would not bode well for a small gutless motor like that which is designed to work with a flexible CVT tranny that always keeps it in the happy part of the RPM band.
Not to mention that the Versa is a Front Wheel drive vehicle.... good luck trying to get that motor to fit a RWD chassis and mate up to a RWD tranny, plus spin the extra rotational mass of the drive-shaft and rear differential.
If you want to make your car get better cruising fuel economy by ruining some of its more impressive features do so through aerodynamics (thin camera-fed side mirror slicers in place of our stock big side-mirrors, big rounded indents along the front bumper like a golf ball has, lose the rear spoiler, and cover up your wheelwells), and putting little tiny lightweight pizza-cutter tires and rims on it.

lol you would probably get worst mileage since the 1.6 motor has a lot less tq then the standard vq35, so you would probably have to rev the crap out of the engine to get the car moving so it would void all the mpg savings.
You would be better off getting smaller rims and low resistance tires with a longer final drive ratio. But to be honest, if you can't afford the gas for the g35, you probably can't afford the maintance and tires.
If thats the case, i would just sell the g35 and buy a civic or something.
