Door Straps Not Working

Everytime I open my doors they want to close by themselves. They aren't locking into position. The straps are there and look a bit warn down, I'm just wondering if they is normal? Thanks

So what needs to be replaced in order to fix this? Is the part called door strap? My driver side does this aswell and I will probably purchase the part when I head out to a dismantling shop next weekend.

Mine won't stay open on flat ground.

Must be the same guy who designed the front end bushings...

My doors barely stay open if I open them all the way and kinda hold them there for a moment on flat ground... anything other than all the way open, they close themselves. They've always done that since the day I bought the car. I don't think (at least in my case) anything is wrong with the car, it's just the way the doors were manufactured.

She must be blonde.. a brunette would learn to watch out for this after the first time it happened to her.
