Leak in my Clutch Hose (Video) Pretty funny

My g35 clutch has been sticking a lot and recently the fluid has been running low after about an hour of driving.
So i decided to put it up on my friends lift and take a look, and heres what i found.
I removed the heat shielding to see this. The hose that comes from the slave and goes to the metal tubing from the master cylinder had a pinsize hole in it.
And every time the clutch was pressed down, it would ****!
I could get thru about an hour of highway driving like this but just yesterday getting onto the GWB, the clutch wouldnt come back up.
SO i had to rip it out of 2nd and on the 1 lane ramp, cars honking, i had to add more fluid hahahaha. new STEEL BRAIDED hose is coming in 2 days

Damn.... That's crazy. Make sure you clean up that fluid. That stuff is pretty corrosive and will mess up the paint on surrounding parts and could screw up any plastic or rubber that it sits on for a while.

What year is your car and was that the stock hydraulic hose for your clutch that was leaking, or had you replaced it with an aftermarket one previously?

Damn.... that's a lot of miles for an '05.

I'm surprised we don't hear about this happening more often. Usually if one person has a problem on a specific car, tons of others will eventually have it.

Good thing you kept extra fluid in your car! BTW, is that hose on the driver's side under the car? Sounds like a good opportunity for a short DIY

Yep! I already wrapped in rescue tape and 2 hose clamps to slow the leak, worked surprisingly well!
