The automatic has never had Brembos available.

Automatic with Brembos

In 2003 you could buy an automatic with the wheel package that included the Brembo's.

Nope, only 6 speeds came with Brembo's.
You could get an automatic with the wheel package, but no Brembo brakes.

Incorrect, as previously stated automatics were never available with brembos. There are several people with automatics who bought the brembos used and retrofitted them.

Ah, that's a good clarification, I too thought that 2003s had a BREMBO option, read it from somebody (who might have been mistaken).

Just to summarize, so everyone is clear....

2003-2004 Coupes: 6MT have Brembos standard. 5AT does not have Brembos, and was not an option.

2005+ Coupes: No Brembos at all.

Anyone know why they got rid of them for 05? I actually liked the look and am looking for either new calipers or a way to paint the stock 05's.

I'm thinking they deleted it, saved a bunch of money, then only jacked up the 05 MSRP a little bit. Makes it look like you're getting a much better deal on the 05's due to the stated hp increase.

To put them on all the new 35th anniversary Z coupes and Grand touring roadsters! Just kidding.
