Please report about the power (I know this might be a little while to break in) and brakes.....have you driven an 03 or 04 6MT to be able to compare it to?
I picked mine up last night! I love it: 05 6MT. It feels great to drive, but it will have to wait to test the true potential. Interesting side note, my car was assembled in Nov 04! What the h3ll took it so long to make it across the sea??? Finally part of the club

Hey OnG, did you end up buying it from Costa Mesa? Hope they gave you a great price!
I've been keeping an eye on my odometer....waiting for it to go over 1000 before i can really DRIVE my car. I can feel my baby begging me to drive her faster. But even still...i get a smile every time I start her engine and hear the roar.

Make sure you do a thorough walk through with the dealer before you accept the car. You want to make sure they have installed everything you wanted and paid for. You want to make sure they haven't mistakenly left out your owner's manual, shaving kit, safety kit, mats, etc... You want to walk the exterior very carefully (in the daylight) to make sure there are no dings, dents, chips, or scratches in your paint. If there are they must repair them. You also want the dealer to sit down and go through all the controls with you (radio, navi, seats, start/stop/park, etc.). Also it's a good idea to review the service policy per Infiniti's requirements.
Now that I have panicked you enough. Congradulations and have fun.

for the guys picking up their 2005 6MTs, please let the rest of us know what city you live in (just out of curosity, so we can look out for you and say hi and see where the 6MTs are being sold) and what dealer (tell us good experience or other). thanks.
btw, CONGRATS GUYS, i know you waited a long time....

I got mine in San Diego. I don't know how to post pics -but I'll take some later and figure it out. As for break in, I was told there isn't an official break in period.... Anyone know the real story? I've heard conflicting opinions: my CBR was redlined right from the get-go and it ran perfect. Then again, a 10k investment vs. 40...
you guys are SO LUCKY!!!!! i'm still waiting on my order. just spoke to the dealer yesterday and everything is squared away with the vin#. it appears that the eta was yesterday, but there was a delay at port. i can't wait!!! : )

. I really want to open 'er up and see how she compares to my M3.
