I recently bought a Z-tube off ebay and just received it in the mail last night and as I took it out the box.. I noticed how small and short it looked. I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find anyone that has a Z tube that looks like this one. The seller said this was an original OEM 350z intake. Idk you guys be the judge.

Long shot but could it be off the first year the 350z came out.

 

idk they claimed it to be a 08 350z intake tube. Gonna be pissed if its not the right part..

 

Looks kinda fugly but should work. Clean it before you attempt installing it, might look better....Gary

 

The tube you have is from an '07-07 350Z. The part commonly regarded as a "Z tube" is the same part DBML posted. If your G is '03-05, you need to get the part DBML posted. I have no idea if they part you bought will work...

 

Didn't even try to put it on.. but held it over the intake area and lined it up to where the throttle body is.. the tube isn't long enough to reach the air box

 

then get a an Air filter

Lol thats not the correct Ztube, it looks like the HR motor Ztube. 07-08 350z

 

u failed to read what u were buying correctly and will now need to properly source a z tube..

 

Research before you buy something. Could have just bought a stillen z tube and called It a day. If you end up returning it or can't install it. I have a stillen z tube for sale. Lmk...

 

why do some oems manufacture the tube like that with the wrinkles and odd square indentions? is that supposed to help?
