I have a yellow top in my garage that I used on my previous modded car
waiting to be swapped with the factory battery when needed.

The good thing about yellow top is that it is a deep cycle battery you can
use on your weekend car that might be hibernating in your garage during the
winter. You can even drain it all the way without sacrificing the battery
life of the battery. (great RC car battery charger source too for those outdoor
parking lot races).

I've been using hte d51R (MAKE SURE YOU GET 51R not 51!!!) and while it is a little higher, it's not a problem, the bolt thing is long enough fortunately.

With the ridiculous prices we pay for the MAJOR services, shouldn't the battery maintenance be taken care of?

BTW, I'm on 30k and have never touch my batter other than to disconnect the negative terminal.
