How much is a OEM rear bumper

So I got in a small fender bender today, some lady decided to go straight all the way from the left lane...where the 2 left ones are left only and last one is straight...

Anyway, I am in need of a new bumper and if it isn't too expensive, i'd rather just have her give me cash instead of going through insurance. Considering maybe even getting an aftermarket bumper...but then the rest of the car will look off? (Because I won't have the rest of the body kit)

Yeah pretty sure it's just the bumper...nothing else is damaged besides a huge dent in the side of the bumper...What else could have been damaged? Fenders are fine.

It's dark and raining out now, so i'll take a few snapshots of it tomorrow. It's really not that bad. My idea is to get 1k from her and buy a whole bodykit and paint my whole car black. Reason being, if I get an OEM bumper, they will never be able to paint it the same color. I have an '04. So i'll have her pay for the body kit, and chip in my own money for a paint job...

Just go through insurance. Most of the time damages internally are not visible and car may look like its fully functional.

I just replaced my rear bumper and tag lights after getting rear ending at a red light <5mph.

New bumper, tag lights, paint, and mounting ran me about $892 and some change.

Thumbs up

To answer your question
OEM Bumper - $419.69 list,
that's unpainted
I would be suprised if she's gonna give you cash, most people have insurance for that very thing, I know I wouldn't have 1000$ laying around to give anyone....

^ +1. I doubt she'll just hand you over 1k in cash. Do you know how much a full, proper paint job costs?

That is what insurance is for...but her insurance will probably end up costing her more overtime then if she just gives me cash. Also, when it happaned, she asked if I wanted to go through insurance or if she could just give me cash. Either way, I got an estimate for 1.2k today and if she doesn't want to do that, I will go through insurance. And a good paint job is 6k, but I know people lol. Posted the pictures in the OP.
