Motordyne TDX2 or Exoticspeed R1 titan..
So ever since i got my G i did my research and figured out that Motordyne pretty much makes the best quality products for our cars and ive had my heart set on ART pipes with a TDX2 CBE. however, came across a deal on CL for a 3" Exoticspeed R1 titan exhaust, pretty much new, the guy had it on his Z for about 1k miles. Hes asking $800 for the exhaust.
i know the R1 is not true dual and not as high quality as the MD, but i would be saving aprox $800 with the R1.. besides the gas money i would spend going to pick it up aprox 200miles from where i live..
what you do guys think? Should i just wait and save up for the TDX2 or settle for the R1?
either way i plan on getting the ART pipes for sure.
btw, im in dying need of an exhaust because Im boosted on a V2 vortech but im runing stock cats and exhaust which is really holding back my car..
appreciate the advice.

Save up. Yea you might like the r1 titan but youll LOVE that deep exotic note that only the tdxv2 offers. Once you install the tdxv2 with art pipes, the first thought after "WOW" would be "money well spent"

Dude, if you're FI why would you want to stick with an OEM style exhaust? I'd highly recommend waiting for the TDX2 as I'm sure it will produce more power and a HANDS DOWN better sound than the exotic speed.
Love my tdxv2 everyone wonders what kind of exhaust i got!
Even the guy w a suped up gt-r. I would highly recommend motordyne as tony and his crew are a pleasure to deal w and superior quality is an understatement for the price!!

With all the exhaust system that have been available to us since the G35 landed on our shores no one has better quality and sound than Motordyne. Not sure you'll want the ART pipes due to the legality factor and the stinky exhaust but you have time to decide. I like HFCs better for the sweet sound and I can drive with my windows down and not smell the exhaust....Gary

thanx for the imput guys!
yeah seems like i wont have an exhaust for another few months because im going to save up for the TDX2.
as for the smell with straight pipes, im used to it, my previous car was a another VQ with headers and test pipes all the way to the CBE. so im used to the smell
plus, i hear FI with HFC tend to blow out the cats..
