If you think the alternators going bad. Start the car and unplug the battery to see if the car keeps running.

Check all wire connectors in the engine bay. They may have knocked a connection loose during the oil change.

sounds like a loose wire/alternator problem.

Check the connections on your battery and make sure they're both tight.

Do you have an aftermarket stereo in your car or an aftermarket alarm system?

Could you explain in more detail exactly how the car dies? Does the engine just stall, but all your electronics continue to work, or does the whole car just completely black out? Are there any symptoms prior to it turning off (bucking, loss of power, weird sounds or electrical glitches)?

Does the car start right back up after it shuts off on you?.... and is your Check Engine light on?

Sometimes I have the same issue..I think...sometimes I'll be going like 40-50 then pop it into neutral cuz I'm coming up to my destination and when the rpm's drop the end up dropping so low that the car turns off...the electronics all stay on and don't flicker or anything...the car simply turns off....sometimes.

I thought I was the only one having this issue

Not to sound like I'm lecturing, but this is the exact reason why you're supposed to keep the car in gear when you decelerate with a vehicle that is equipped with a manual transmission rather than putting it in neutral and coasting. If the car stalls while you're coasting to a stop in neutral, you lose your power steering and your brake-assist which could lead to loss of control of the car and a bad accident.

Like others have mentioned it could be a loose connection at the alternator or ground for the battery, engine, etc.

Random stalls can be caused by crank or camshaft position sensors but after a few times they throw a code so I doubt that is it

yours sounds like a dirty mass airflow sensor

It could be the battery post. The bolt might be loose and pop on and off. Mine did the same thing until I finally tightened it enough do it would stay on
