CF interior wrap

Hey guys, i have no experience in this subject at all so i came to ask you guys lol

I want to wrap all the silver interior parts to carbon fiber and i was just wondering, like the center console has some good curves to it, will this be a hard task to wrap it? or will i run into problems/folds/wrinkles?

I would take it to a shop but i want to try to do it all my self.
Has anyone done this and have pictures or is anyone able to photoshop it?

Thanks for any help in advance!!!

im getting ready to do this on my trunk..
theres hundreds of diys on google on how to properly wrap vinyl on your trim. Its pretty straight forward for the most part besides the curves obviosly. Most recomend using a heat gun and shaping it in to the curves and bends to reduce bubbles/wrinkles as much as possible and a straight edge to really press down on it when laying it down.

im sure youll find more input details in a simple search.
good luck

There is a primer that you can use for the really curvey/ odd material pieces. Check out autovinylsolutions.com, they will have everything you need

I'm actually in the process of doing this right now, the door grabs look fantastic. Very subtle but add class for sure especially on a black interior. The center console I haven't finished yet but it looks pretty good. I'll try and figure out some way of getting some pictures linked up.

As for difficulty, I have used cheap no name vinyl before, and I used the 3M 1080 product for this and I can say the quality is far improved in 3M's product. Even on the center console with the use of a hair dryer it was very easy to not end up with kinks or folds. I have since painted the little silver pocket matt black and to be honest I'm not sure if I like it better...

3m is the best and use a hair dryer or heat gun and the bends are easy just give it a nice stretch and will lay perfect.
