Ive been stalking this forum the past couple of weeks since i just bought a 05 coupe 6mt and lots of good info so i had to sign up. But thats another thread

But back on topic, I got the car and the air bag light was flashing. Did the air bag reset and i worked for a day and after that it would come back as soon as i would shut the car off and turn it back on. Im really picky with everything and the seat had a small wear mark on the side so i pulled the seats to fix them and clean the carpets better. I was also reading about people complaining about thier airbag light coming on after the seat recall. HMMMMM so when i put everything back i used some dilectric silcone in the airbag connectors and wrapped them with some electrical tape and clipped them back to where they were orginally. Then reset the airbag light and WA-LA been a week and a half no airbag light.

All i want to know is who came up with this fix to zip tie it I expected more from a "luxury car company"

It worked for me might be worth a shot for anyone else with this problem
