So tonight I had this weird rattling noise from the engine when I parked my car. I noticed some rattling only at idle and when i pulled into the parking spot. It kept going unless I revved it even a little and then it would stop. My idle rpm was within normal range. I also noticed extra vibration in the steering wheel and on the floor board during the noise. It was a constant rattle, it would happen for 2-3 seconds, pause and then do it again. I tried to replicate again and i noticed it again once at a traffic light.

Now the only way to make it happen again is if I roll my windows up and down only using the auto switch. It doesn't work if i just hold the button and roll them, it only works if press the button and use the auto click to roll it.

Now I am thinking there might be an issue with the battery or the alternator. The battery is only a couple months old so I doubt its that. But these should be easy tests to perform, do you guys have any other ideas?

 

Oh and I did do an oil change, atf drain and fill, and differential couple weeks ago.
