AC control acting up?
AC control acting up?
Hey guys, I recently put in a double DIN unit in my car and got the OEM Double Din kit that comes with the AC controls.
I'm only just noticing this (but it never happened prior to me putting in the OEM double din kit), but my AC only works when the temperature is at the lowest setting (18 degrees celsius, my car is Canadian). As soon as I move the temperature up one degree to 19 (or anything else.. 20, 21, 22 etc) the heater comes on and the heat feels like it's at the max temperature setting (32 degrees celsius). basically i only have 2 settings it seems... the coldest temp for AC and the hottest temp for the heater.
Has this happened to anyone else before? is there a way to fix this?
Thanks in advance!

So I did some more searching and found my problem
turns out the in cabin temp sensor under the steering wheel was disconnected. Plugged that back in and all is good!
