BS or DG? And other questions...

OK, I have a friend who says he can help me get a g for less. My two color preferences now are DG/G then BS/G (I say now because about a month ago I liked BS better). My questions are:

1) Would you get a color that is not your first choice to save some money? If you could save $500 would you do it? Or if you could save $1500 would you do it? Is there an amount of money you could save that would make you change from DG to BS? My friend said that since DG is a very popular color he could get any other color for less.

2) Which color do YOU prefer Diamond Graphite or Brilliant Silver and why? Also, does silver fade or oxidize quicker after a few years?

Thanks in advance.

D/G is getting to be very common, it looks good, but all the other colors I think have merit to. Myself, I would go for the B/S or P/W both I think have class. Lighter colors show the lines of the G.

I personally woudl go with d/g cause it looks nicer. Even though silver isn't as common w/ g's, it is the most common color for all cars combined, so you won't stick out as much. Although if money is a factor, i'd save the 500 or 1500 and just choose a different color instead. There r so many color options available after all.

I have D/G but both are nice colours. D/G might be slightly less maintenance tho.
From what I understand about colours nowadays, they are very stable and won't oxidize quickly with regular care.

Those were my original color choices also...DG first, then BS.

I ended up getting LR because it stands out more. I guess a leap of faith while sitting at the dealership for 4 hours.

Can't go wrong with any color on a G, but between the two I would choose BS. Less common and has a little "shine" to it after wash.

BLACK BLACK BLACK..ehheh...k seriously...I would I had to choose, it would be BS, DG is a nice color, but way to common on the G, and it doesn't look as good on the G as BS does. BS all the way, plus you will save money, so it should be all good. BS, is really a nice color to look at, after a wash, it looks super sharp. If that means anything to you..hehe. Good luck! BLACK BLACK BLACK....the best color for the G hands down though.

OH YES! BLACK MAN BLACK MAN.

Hey but if you must either go with d/g or b/s, I think d/g looks a whole lot better, imo.

BS would look beautiful with clear corners, dark tint and OEM 19", but I still like DG better. It gives the G more character.

And you should finally get the car, not just talk about it
