Making the G35 into an exotic
This interior was all tooled around this kit. The price is actually pretty low considering the amount of work and quality.
I wonder if you can get just the interior. 6.5k is an amazing price for a full custom interior like that.
I have been e mailing them back and forth here and there. The interior is 100 percent custom to the vaydor kit. They rebuild the body of the car. So they extend the front and stretch the back I believe. They make it to a 2 seats. If I pick up a donor g35 this is what I will be doing. But that's years down the road. Because I have a hot rod I want to do first or save up for a 67 sting ray. But that's me. I decided not to go this route because every time I see my g the way it is I want to keep it that way haha. I have a guy here that for my interior build which is 100 percent custom with a new steering wheel carbon fiber accents everything is custom, I was quoted high end 8k. So that would be taking my factory parts and re do all of it. So I'm hoping to be in there at the 6k mark.
However there would be an even bigger market if they were willing to make a modified version to keep the functionality of the coupe by keeping the back seats, as those are the reason a lot of us went with the G vs. the Z.
Athough that would mean they would have to desing the whole rear section to match the front, and the armrest area to flow to the rear section. Maybe just the same design with the sloping center but if it sloping btw the rear seats.
A man can dream, right?

Any pics of the center console, and other angles?

Oh hear us VAYDOR kits. make us the interior we are asking for.

I have considered updating my interior with G37 seats sometime this year or next year. If this option would be available, I'd do it in a heart beat, especially for that price.
Hummm...... that's a lot of money to put ina car. I'd rather sell mine and put that extra money into something newer and better. But hey, maybe that's just the broke college student side of me talking. Lol
^ some ppl rather have the "Built, not Bought" satisfaction, and you would be surprised how attached you get after extensive modding. Every part you look reminds you of a certain process and how it got there, the negotiation with the buyer for the part, the good deal or the weird move you pulled to swap part x for that part, and the improvement it made.
It also prevents your ******* lawyer neighbor who knows nothing about cars from pulling up with the same exact car as yours.
No offense to lawyers, my wife is one

Let's say you have a paid off car like an 05 G35 Coupe.
You can mod this car for 5k a year lets say and it will always be a joy to drive. You can choose not to mode it or mod it for less than that. The beauty of it is that you don't have the payments next year and your insurance keeps on going down. I never understood the mathematics of constantly upgrading to a new car. Don't people understand that you can spend allot less money on maintaining an old, paid off car than on buying (making payments) on a new car?
So no matter how you look at it, even a putting an LS1 into G35 will be cheaper than buying a new corvette.
Materialistic lifestyles, because appearing wealthy is better than being wealthy...
See, my car is paid off. I don't do the car loan thingy because I can't deal. So I'd rather put that money into a newer fun car but hey, we aren't all the same. I can understand what you mean by making your car unique from everyone else. But still, *tsk* *tsk*
Your talking to a handful of the people who have the most modified g's here or had. Some have sold them. Most of us still have them. Mine is paid off. I don't mind payments as long as I can afford them. But this is paid off. Haha I will e mail them and see if there is a chance they would do a full kit for us. I doubt it though. It would probably be more too.

This only gives them a small % of the market. However, this kit has some very desirable parts of it that I think have appeal to a much greater market. If they don't take advantage of that I think it's going to be a big mistake on their part.
Agreed, but they have multiple kits for other cars as well. I'm basically copying and pasting but you know they will want a group buy with minimum of 5-10. Finding that many people to shell out that kind of cash for interior.... Might be hard.
^Guitarrocker, I think you would be surprised. If you think about it it's just the cost of a new set of volks + good tires + another hefty mod, and this would def. be for the people who have done that a long time ago and have completed the regular mods, and haven't seen anything new pop up in a while.
My exterior is completed. If I still had my vortech + supporting mods installed, and wasn't in the middle of a 17k LS swap, I would drop that money for sure. With the suspension, exterior, motor done, the only think needed to get the G up to par with some of the cars that I look up to would be a much nicer interior.
However, as of now, it will take me a while as I need to finish the swap and make sure that I am happy with the end project.
