different aftermarket flip keys
different aftermarket flip keys
hi i was wondering if anybody can tell me their experiences with these 2 type of flip keys available in the market.
i notice with one flipkey there is an expose ring loop, built into the body of the cartridge, which will give a lot of freedom for the flipkey-cartridge to move. there is a 2nd flipkey design which seems to have 'cell-phone-style' holes where you have to thread a smaller ring into it.
can anybody offer their experiences with either? i am concern the design where you thread a key ring into the holes will have limited flexiblity (although its design looks better). are the dimensions the same? both are available on ebay for about $13 shipped.

One: pics are not working for some reason...maybe since I'm on my phone..?
Two: don't do it! Stick with the stock key haha....I have the flip key, at first I loved it! After a while the pictures on the buttons fade and the aftermarket-ness of the key becomes prevailant...its really just very cheap. They also dont come with the chip that will program it to the car, the locksmith had to put in a chip...I would rather be using my oem key.
