Exclamation ANOTHER AIRBAG RECALL for the previous one !

So my airbag light went off again after the first recall was done to my G35 coupe about 6 months ago. My mechanic at INFINITI I always go to told me there's another TSB fix for the previous TSB fix. So call your local dealer and see if you qualify, i got a G35 sedan loaner for the day !

Exclamation

Heres what it said on my invoice-

Airbag light flashing
DIAG CODE B1129 Side Module LH. Performed ITB12-034A
Replaced Side AIRBAG Connectors

RPL Both SIDE A/BAG CONNC-92511
Parts-
AIRBAG HARNESS -SERV-24009-CM71A

So for all those who got the little mail notice from the dealer about a year or 2 ago, this is another fix for the previous fix. SO CALL YOUR DEALER

The Thing we all got was a recall, this is just a TSB. So that if someone comes into the dealer with this issue they can reference the TSB. But good find

here is the TSB

I guess they realized they f*ked up. Too bad some of you guys paid for other parts and repairs when I could of been this.

I took both of my connectors apart and put them in the original state. No light anymore. Knock on wood.

How much it will cost if you don't have warranty?

Took my car today to the dealer. They check the air bag code and said it's covered under the updated TSB. It was free and finally the air bag light is not blinking

Wow, this was an enlightening thread. I have 2005 G35x, just got the blinking light about a week ago. first couple resets didn't work, but once I had drivent he car a ways and it was warm it reset and came back on a week later. IT has been cold here again... wouldn't reset yesterday morning when I first got in the car. Drove to work and tried, stayed off when I drove home last night but back on again. the code is 21 best I can tell, 2 "long" and 1 "short blink in diagnostic mode. wont reset when cold but will when warm. Really wondering about the connection at this point, scheduled to take i tin next week and get reamed for them to read the code and see what they say...
