With paint flex additive it shouldn't be a problem. I would try more shops that have experience painting bumpers.

WOW - 2 paint shops won't paint poly? As mentioned above, flex is added to allow for bending without cracking. I have never known a shop who won't paint it. Good luck, and did you try the regional section for some referrals in your area?

Some shops just don't like dealing with aftermarket pieces 'cause they don't want you to come back to them if there is a problem. But yeah, keep looking, if they're hesitant to do it, then that's not the shop you want painting your bumper.

Them saying they won't/can't paint it is actually something you should be thankful for. Much better than some place that doesn't know how to but will still try, just to take your money. Keeping looking for shops with the proper experience and techniques

I'm thinking the same thing. I've heard that sometimes shops will do this, or quote some ridiculous number, just to turn customers away discretely. I find it a little hard to believe that in this day and age a paint shop has not painted a polyurethane bumper.

This is odd. I had my parts painted from 2 different shops and they weren't hesitant to do so.
