Stolen Car

Well, my 2001 subaru outback was stolen about 5 hours ago. At least it wasn't my 3 week old G I guess.

Not like anybody cares, but I thought i may as well share my emotions with everyone else.

i feel your pain!!! my 2 cars were stolen in november:

2003 acura cl-s
2005 mini cooper s

... now i'm driving a friggin' kia rental !
... hopefuly my new Gcoupe comes in next week.

how did they grab the car?

they actually broke into my house and stole the keys to my vehicles... looks like car alarms are a thing of the past.... not to mention my house alarm was on and it took over 15min for rent-a-cops to show!!!

damn... u've just stirred up some passed raw emotions that i thought i was over.

Unless they tow, car jack, or steal your key (vehicle immobilizer system), your g is safe from theft.

oh man, sorry to hear that man.
Did the insurance company pay for both cars? or did you take the loss?

We care bro.
Sorry to hear that.
Hope it's not damaged too badly when she returns. If it is perhaps the insurance will find another one for you.

did anybody buy Lo-jack with their G? any drivers have any good/bad experiences with Lo-jack? The cost the dealership quoted for me was $700.

I got lo-jack for my G. I think I paid around mid -$600's. But, just like insurance, it's something you pay for that you hope you never have to use!!
