New to Forum..

Hello everyone...

I am new to the forum and recently got an 05 g35 coupe AT. I have been doing research on the forum in regards to the "power duct",,, I currently have a Z tube and K&N filter setup.

From my reading in the forum its seems like many people are removing the "power duct" next the air filter housing. I was wondering if anyone is also removing the radiator intake duct as well ?? removing the radiator intake and power duct will open up stock airbox this will change the induction noise and giving it a nice sound.

Im jus trying to get a feel of how many other g owners are running the same set up.

sorry for bring up a old topic if it's one, but just trying to see if its good to roll with that setup..

i get what u mean, they probably do serve a purpose but but when u get an short ram air intake.. those pieces need to be removed anyways,,,

plus i hear an intake really does nothing for vehicle other than induction noise...

That air duct funnels air from the grille and forces it to the intake. I use mine with my pop charger as many others do. No reason to remove it, it won't make a difference in sound and definitely not in performance.
