Nice pics hensta, I was waiting for you to post some pics, saying that you had your car over over a week now. I'm getting my car tomorrow morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait. Im gonna post some pics too as well =). Yeah, one reason why I wanted to wait for the 2005 was that the navi moved up and down by itself, if your gonna pay this much for a car with navi, it better do that..hehe.

The brightness and contrast are both adjustable on the NAV just like any LCD computer monitor has adjustments for these. It also automatically pops up when the ignition is turned on and retracts when the ignition is turned off. If you want, it can also just stay down without popping up when the key is in the "on" position. I have not compared it to the '03-'04 Nav systems but supposedly it is a little bigger at 7".

The title of the song is actually from the CD that was playing. Also any RDS capable radio can also display the title of the song currently playing if the radio station broadcasts RDS data.

As for the CD displaying the title it is actually an MP3 function. The 2005 CD player reads actual MP3 data files. The average song has about 5 mb of data depending on length, instead of 50 mb in raw audio format. MP3 format compresses the music down to roughly 1:10 while sounding just like the original CD. I cannot hear a difference between the original CD and an MP3 CD copy. So if you have your CD's converted to MP3 format on your hard drive (Windows Media Player 10 can do this) or download MP3 formatted songs off the net you can just burn the files onto a CD and the MP3 player will read the data files as well as the music. So the MP3 capable display can show the song title or the artist. I have my songs burned onto CD-RW discs so I can erase them and reburn them if I want to change the songs around.

Anyone know if the clock is backlit at night on the 03-04 like it is on the '05? I like how it illuminates like a Timex Indiglo watch.
