2007 350z transmission

Hey guys, I have a 2004 g35 6MT and my synchros are starting to wear down. I'm looking to get a CD-009 transmission for it. I'm talking to a guy with a 2007 350z motor and transmission for sale, but he says the part number is CD 5 #1. Shouldn't the transmission be CD-009? Or am I reading the years wrong?
Thanks!

If it is a '07 Z MT there's no reason it shouldn't bolt on. Recheck the serial numbers and check with www.infinitihelp.com or a Nissan parts manager if you know one you can trust....Gary

Sadly I do not know one I can trust, every one I have talked to knows nothing about what they are talking about. Do you guys know where it would say the cd number on it?

The 07 350z use the VQ35HR engine. I'd imagine there might be some changes to the tranny due to the added hp/tq from the revised engine. I wouldn't use that transmission personally.

I did some research and it won't fit without modifications. I told him I couldn't buy it, then he offered me the HR motor and the tranny with 35,000 miles for $1000. Which I am supremely sketched out about. And it would probably take a ton of work to make it fit. I just want a CD-009 transmission badly

i would check my350z.com. They tend to have more cd009 more often. Just react fast because the used ones get snatched up fast. It took me a few months to get my cd009 since they always get snatched up so fast.

If you can't wait you can get it from z1 for $1700
