After reading 20,000 threads....ztube

I am about to buy a z tube. I just want to know if there are any dangers of problems with the engine by just adding the z tube (no other filter or anything) to the stock intake box?

has anybody had any problems as a result of the z tube?

No, its an OEM part. Its as safe as a mod can possibly be.

Get a K&N filter while you're at it. Just make sure you research at least 20,000 more threads.
