you could start off with changing the liscence plate light, upgrade to HID if you dont have, add a spoiler, etc

first off congrats! i just picked up a white one myself about 2 weeks ago and love it so far!

Some of the first things i did was debadge it. i stripped the infiniti and g35 off the trunk and just left the infiniti logo. makes it look alittle more sleek in my opinion...

I also removed the grille and sprayed it gloss black cause i wasnt to big on the chrome...
you can swap the front bumper reflectors to clear or black instead of orange...

hard to tell in the pic but it looks like there is a pinstripe going down the side...id personally take that off aswell if there is one...

and like he said above me, changing the light bulbs on plate, reverse lights, door step lights and dome lights to LED will def add some more detail to the car...

Goodluck with the G and hope this gives ya some cheap easy mods to get started!

welcome to the community - go thru the classifieds or better yet join the V35 Coupe drivers on facebook... people are constantly posting items on there for sale that aren't very expensive.

I'm going to agree with if that's a pinstripe, remove it off there. It'll look cleaner without it.

Hahaha I remember when I first got mine, I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why the little hatch to the gas tank wouldn't open. I was sitting there for like 15 minutes before I figured it out!

Lol, at least you figured it out. Not me I ended up pulling on the gas door till it open. So I now promote proper gas door opening.

Nice pickup on the car but ya that pinstripe has to go. Good info about the gas door. I'm picking mine up the end of next week. I would probably be going crazy at the gas station.

I got to the gas station and couldn't figure it out so I just left and went home lol. I had to call my salesman friend at Nissan to ask him what the hell I had to do.

A lot of people start off with changing out the LEDs for interior and license plate. You can also do the clear JDM side markers. People are always selling them on this site. I don't think they're that expensive either.

To be honest there's only so much you can do on a G appearance-wise. Everyone seems to have the same "tastes" when it comes to the basic mods because it's always the same mods that people list off. My advice is to get a good feel for the car and do what comes to your mind or do what you personally feel looks good; that way whatever your car ends up looking like is what YOU did and not what was part of someone else's checklist. That will help desaturate our community a little bit.
