Heads up on the 03-06 coupe headlights

Wanted to give a head up to all g35 coupe owners that if your headlights were turning yellowish and ugly and wanted to get them fixed ....Once Upon a time there was a recall that included both sides to help fix that condensation for half the price.....they are now no longer available.

The bad news is that the factory has discontinued this SET and will now have to buy individual sides for about $800-900 each.

so if you happen to come across any OEM factory left and right side for a reasonable price I say go for it because they are discontinued. GOOD LUCK

Are you sure about this recall on '03 to '06 Coupes? The only headlight recall I ever heard of for a G35 was on the '06 and '07's because they had vertical alignment issues, so they replaced them with upgraded lights that met the federal safety requirements.

Semi correct. They're no longer available, but yeah the recall was just for bad vertical alignment.

sorry I didn't want to go further into details ...you are correct they were not aligned correctly causing water to get into the headlights therefore causing condensation.

Circle Infiniti and OC Infiniti are the only ones I know on here that have any quantity left, they are getting slimmer and slimmer,
you should contact them now if you need a set, and not sure what thier price is you'd have to PM them

I was looking for the 06/7 housings and well...you will be spending over 800 dollars once they are shipped. You can find the 05 versions on amazon still for about 250 shipped each.

Amazon Amazon

Yes the main difference, is the headlight set, (part of a campaign) didn't come with the Xenon control unit, (300$+) but if you didnt need the Xenon control units, you'd come up ahead than if you bought 2 new ones
26010-CM40C - $857.80 List ($685.00 G35driver discount)
26060-CM40C - $857.80 List ($685.00 G35driver discount)
so it's 500-600$ for the set minus the Xenon control units with the projector kit
or both headlights with Xenon control units for $1370.00
if you needed the Xenon control units
Projector Light Kit - $500
Control Units - 28474-8992A Qty 2 - $482.42 list ($385 G35driver discount)
I was suprised to see the Projector Light Kit discontinued

Looks like those of us that were lucky enough to get the '06+ projectors need to take very good care of them. I got hit by a rock a week ago that missed my left headlight by 1/4" but took the paint off my bumper, put a nick in my glass and scratched the roof on it's way out. Gotta love PCH construction zones....

I got my 2006 coupe headlights replaced about 2-3 months ago due to the alignment issue/recall. The dealer didn't give me a problem, and it was free of course.

the misalign was an internal issue not external so has nothing to do with water leakage
