Another reason he asked where is it being sold is to (possibly) figure if SALT and other weather conditions could have done a on the piping

So its pretty hard to find a Nismo y pipe for sale by itself. And they aren't sold by themselves new (only the 3 piece full set). So I'm thinking about just getting a Motordyne XYZ. Does the y pipe make a difference in sound at all or is that mainly the nismo muffler?
