I wanna know if anyone has installed a speed grille upper/lower valance combo. If so, can you post some pics? I'm not talking about billet, just speed grille. I wanna see how good it looks. Thanks

 

Two things.......what's a Speed Grille and you might get more answers if you post this in the bodykits thread.

 

I have never heard of a speed grille, and a search of the entire forum yields no mention of this term. You need to find out what the commonly used name for this grille is, as it has never been mentioned on G35driver before.

if your talkin bout the stillen/street scene speed grille, just go to their site, tons of pics...i have loved that grill for a long time but after seeing the silviaparts.com grille, im def not gonna get the speed grille.

Are you talking about the SSE MAIN GRILLE 03-04 INFINITI G35 COUPE - SILVER or the T-REX BILLET GRILLE 03-05 INFINITI G35 COUPE (13 BARS)

 

The street scene grill (which is owned by Stillen) is hideous without some kind of frame. Opinion only. The screen itself is very sturdy and I used it as the mesh in my Gialla grill. I also ordered the grill for a 2002 Yukon to act as the mesh in the lower part of my Greddy front which is being installed now.

 

doingok- how did you mount the infiniti symbol in your giala grill? Did you take that off from your stock grill?

That is the speed grille that I am looking for Mizz. That looks tight! How come you didn't replace the main grille with the same? Does anyone have the matching upper grille that the Mizz has???? Pics please!!!!

 

Thanks, it looks better in higher resolution (email if you want pics). To me, the upper stillen grille (see first link below) detracts from the g's seamless chic look, while the lower grilles complement the g ... filling black void and still looking factory. Note, grilles come in silver, chrome, and black chrome (see last link).

Yea I really don't like the stillen grilles. So nasty. Anyways, DoingOK how did you do the emblem on the grille? It looks real nice.
