I had that exhaust paired up with non resonated test pipes loud as hell but I liked it while I had my coupe

I have it with a simple x-pipe installed before the resonators(stoped the drone) and I like it alot, true about the rusting and especially for me being across from the ocean.

Here's a link just in case:
Hell yes, members are wasting their $$ installing Magnflow's x-pipe trying to make it sound better and remove the horrible rasp....Gary

Can you expand on your experience? I have berks hfc as well and was planning on trying the M2 hks replica.

Sure. My experience was that fitment was terrible. Had to have cin motorsports here in charlotte cut and weld the exhaust to make it fit correctly. It was a nightmare. Then when it was all said and done, it was so raspy it gave me a headache. So I took all that crap off. Now I just have the ISO thermal plenum spacer and z tube. I'd say go for the motordyne exhaust or nothing at all. I'm not one to spend that much on an exhaust though so I'm satisfied with stock.

You have such nice mods now, why downgrade with a knockoff exhaust? Save your $$ and ask Santa for a Motordyne exhaust....Gary

Im buying the hks rep right now, nearly everyone else ive heard of that got it is happy, the only thing you really need to get is oem gaskets to prevent leaks. For being over 4 times cheaper than these other exhausts they're telling you to get its the best for the money.

I used to think like you. Thinking all exhaust are the same, it's just piping after all. But no. You won't believe the R&D that went into these exhausts. Like MD, Momentum, invidia, FI. They are expensive for a reason. High quality, design, sound, and actually performance gains! I was going to buy the M2 exhaust. But now I know better and am saving to buy a MD exhaust.

I never said they're the same. Im saying for what those expensive ones cost and the small gains you see from them, its not worth it spending that much more on them, I'd rather spend less on an exhaust that you still see some gains from and have over a $1000 left on other upgrades.

Lol at "minimum gains." Plus after you're done with adjusting, fixing leaks, and buying an x pipe, then install for everything. You're looking at the price for an invidia. You honestly don't save as much money as you think you will...
