I have been looking everywhere for this part and have already searched for threads but nothing has come up. I was filling up my tank and turned the pump to remove it and it snapped the plastic pin that is inside of an accordion-shaped rubber boot. I am not talking about the fuel door actuator that locks and unlocks the fuel door, but the spring-loaded magnetic mechanism just below it that pushes the fuel door out when you press on it. Any help on where I can get a replacement will be greatly appreciated.

 

just call nissan and infiniti. start from there then do price comparison.

 

Mines been broken since I bought the car I just jb welded it back together

 

How did you open it up? Just peel off the rubber boot I'm assuming?

 

Yeah it just pops off

I am actually trying to find just the rubber boot accordion thing, but looks like I am going to have to replace the whole part.

 

There are a few people parting out cars on the fb communities I'm sure you could get someone to pop it off and ship it to you for a couple bucks
