Serges, if that's a color you like go for it! 86% of all the coupes and sedans on the street are DG, anything would be a pleasant change. While you're at it paint those yellow calipers black or silver, they take the focus off your beautiful (soon to be) blue pearl coupe!

IMHO, don't do pearl. If you get in any accidents, wanted to add new parts and have to paint them, most places have alot of trouble matching pearl colors. It looks awesome but a pain to deal with if something bad happens.

Don't do any OEM colors. Paying that kinda money and looking like a regular coupe is just wrong.

Consider yourself lucky Serges, really good painters are very hard to find. Have you looked at House of Color paint? I was at GNRS in January looking at all their bitchen colors, they have hundreds of variations even "Pearl Smurf Blue!"

I like OEM colors. If you like a pearl, the 2013 Nissan GT-R comes in pearl white. If you ever get into an accident, color matching would be relatively easy since it's OEM and available at the local Nissan. That's my opinion though. I agree with gary_c in that you should paint it the color that you like. If you can't decide yet, get it wrapped. I've seen this car get wrapped on TV and it looked like it was dipped in chrome.
