Changing HID Bulbs - 03 G35 Coupe

Does anyone have any quick tips on how to change these bulbs or recommend a place with reasonable prices?

Jack up your ride, remove the wheel and go thru the front panel. It's quick.

Some people pull the wheels off and access them through the wheel well some people pull the bumper off and pull out the whole assemblies. I pulled the bumper when I did mine. Pop off the black cover on the back of the assembly, turn and pull off the harness, pop the clips holding the bulb, then replace the bulb and reverse the process. Pretty straight forward

Jacking the car up and removing the wheels imo is way faster.

I found just pulling down the bumper and removing the head lights was easier..lol.

But yeah going through the inner fender is the more conventional way, but you still need the hands of a hobbit to install it.

I've actually done it both ways, turn the wheels all the way in and then remove the fender liner (for just changing bulbs this is easier), and also move the bumper down. Lately I've been pulling the bumper down and removing the whole assembly just because I've also had to do some other work on the headlights.

THIS x 100000

Don't take the wheel off, that's wasted effort.

Turn your steering wheel all the way so that the wheel is facing inward, one side at a time obviously, and you can access the bolts holding the bumper into place. Once you take the front bumper off there are only 3 bolts holding each headlight in place. I've done this many times (Swapped headlights 3x and removed/replaced front bumper countless times). The bumper bolt that's the farthest inside is the hardest to get to but can still be done without removing the wheel.

Yeah. No need to take off the bumper NOR the wheel. But, it's only "relatively" quick compared to the other way if you go through the fender liner. If you've got hobbit hands, you can just pop the hood. I saw a guy do it once. True story. But, my hands, like the rest of me, are huge.

Super easy thru the fenders I didnt even need to do anything on the pass side. Just push the liner down and poke ur hand in there!
