Smoke.....HELP!

Ok
i was parking in this parking spot and i got out of the car and was angry because the back of my car was on the sidewalk and som1 would probably key my car. So, I moved my car. The problem was, i didnt see the pylon in the new parking space so I just drove right over it. my son said that smoke came from the tire or around the tire when i drove over it.

What does this smoke mean? was it suspension, or the tire??

thanks

What kind of pylo was on the parking space when you ran over it? It might be touching your exhaust check under your car and see if any plastic or rubber material is touching it.

Did the smoke smell like burnt plastic/rubber, or was it just dust coming out of the
pyon?

...how did the smoke look, was to blue or yellow?
How did it taste, was it bitter or sweet?

Was there any kind of explosion?

To my mind it was either a puncture in the tire, or going over the pylon dislodged some dust or dirt and looked like smoke.
Best get under there or hoist it, and see what damage there is.

probably kicked up some dust or the tires did a mini "peel-out"....

I'd say do a visual inspection, if no serious damage then your most likely good to go if you never see that smoke again.
