Hey guys, what's the difference in these two injen intakes. Which is RD and which is SP? The only difference I see is that on one of them the maf sensor mounts directly into the intake pipe and the other one you you have to install the whole maf sensor with plastic tube in between intake piping.

Intakes don't yield much power on our cars. But they do make them sound different / cool

Anyway, I didn't think the RD intake was still available. I had an engine CAI before I was boosted, and IIRC, the SP replaced the RD.

 

Intakes actually cause us to lose power >.>

 

depending on the intake yes. But for performance/the best are either the stillen z-tube/air box or revup air box with a drop in filter

Injen in general has never been know for quality products. I'd stay away from anything they make.

 

I guess all their HP gain advertising is a bunch of BS. I had one on my 02 Maxima back in the day and definitely felt loss of low end power do I guess the G would be similar since its the same 3.5 nissan engine.

 

Lol you believe it when they tell you the power gains? All those numbers are exaggerated.

 

I never really believed it but since I see a lot of pics with them on a G, it makes me wanna believe. lol.
